Cranemasters, a leader in specialized lifting and recovery solutions focusing on service to the railroad industry, is currently recruiting for a Track Supervisor to join our Taneytown, MD division.

This position is responsible for safely leading a crew for service delivery related to track building, maintenance and repair.  Successful candidates will have an extensive background in track management and track construction/maintenance.  Candidates should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to foster and environment of teamwork.

Job Responsibilities:

- Distributes work assignments and ensures that track crews have the tools and materials to complete the job.

- Establishes and maintains positive/professional relationships with co-workers, customers and oversight agencies as required.

- Coaches and counsels employees.

- Provides on the job training to employees to enhance skills and abilities.

- Handles estimates, bids, pricing and billing.

- Prior experience with a railroad or railroad contractor highly preferred.

Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.  We seek candidates with a stable work history and the ability to work well in a team environment.  Successful team members respond quickly to change and work well under pressure in an environment where everyone pitches in to complete work assignments.  Due to the nature of or work, candidates may be required to travel off-site to assist in the field or to accomplish repairs in the field.  Cranemasters has a team based, results driven work environment where employees are expected to show initiative and demonstrate commitment to job accomplishment.
